The overall goal of the collaborative project is to improve the current RL04 quality of the GRACE gravity fields towards the GRACE baseline accuracy by improvement of the applied observation models, improvement of the applied background models, improvement of the applied processing strategy and standards and consistent reprocessing of the complete CHAMP and GRACE time series. The work package WP160 "Reprocessing of CHAMP and GRACE Observations for the Determination of Improved Static and Temporal Gravity Field Models with Regional Refinements" consists of the tasks WP161 "Preparation of GROOPS for the re-processing of the CHAMP and GRACE gravity field models", WP162 "Implementation of a new technique for the determination of precise (reduced) kinematical orbits of LEOs", and WP163 "Production of gravity field models"
